Energy

In 2011, I was selected as one of participants to attend a photography workshop, at Photo Meeting of Stream Photo Asia in Bangkok.    We were divided into small groups. I was under guidance of Giulio di Sturco (Getty Images) as a tutor. There was a big flood in Bangkok back then. I decided to walk along Chao Praya River in the thought to photograph flood. While walking at Wang Burapha Phirom Sub-district, I have found my interest at Pak Khlong Talat where vendors sell flowers, fruits and vegetables. It is the primary flower market of Bangkok. As I spent my time there mostly at late nights. So, I have seen the tiredness of vendors and carriers who were sleeping. To me, they are saving their own energies before the rush hours at this market before dawn.

This series “Energy” was selected by juries/ tutors as honorable mention during the intensive workshop.
